About the Bursary
UBC Sauder Diploma in Accounting Program (DAP) is pleased to introduce a Financial Assistance Bursary program, offering up to $20,000 in bursary funds for new and current UBC DAP students experiencing financial hardship due to the impacts of COVID-19. Qualified applicants, selected by the Bursary Selection Committee, will be awarded up to $765 in the form of a tuition credit, covering the cost of one course in the 2020 Summer Term 2 or 2020 Winter Term 1. Please note, if accepted the tuition credit is non-transferable and non-refundable.
Application Instructions
New and current domestic and international UBC DAP students experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to apply for the Financial Assistance Bursary.
The following documents must be submitted prior to the posted deadlines:
- UBC DAP Financial Assistance Bursary application form – with all sections completed prior to the deadline
- Friday, May 29, 2020 –2020 Summer Term 2
- Friday, July 31, 2020 – 2020 Winter Term 1
- Up-to-date resume
- Covering letter
- In your covering letter, please provide a brief explanation of your reason(s) for requesting financial assistance through the UBC DAP Financial Assistance Bursary program. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their financial hardship is a result of recent, unexpected changes in their circumstances.
