BIG Difference BC brings together Behavioural Insights (BI) experts from academia and the non-profit sector and policy experts from all levels of government, Crown corporations, and industry to create a strong collaborative network that can work across boundaries to use behavioural insights to solve policy challenges in BC.

For our Vancouver 2019 conference, we will be welcoming Professor Dilip Soman from the University of Toronto’s Behavioural Economics in Action at Rotman (BEAR) as our keynote speaker. Registration fees: 

  • Early registration (through October 4, 2019 at 11:59pm): $45 Canadian + 5% GST = $47.25
  • Late registration (October 5 through November 25, 2019 at 11:59pm): $55 Canadian + 5% GST = $57.75
  • On-site registration may be available, space permitting: $55 Canadian + 5% GST = $57.75

When you register to attend the BIG Difference BC Conference, UBC collects certain personal information from you (such as your name, contact information, payment information) in order to process your event registration request. UBC collects this information under the authority of Section 26(c) of the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). This information will be shared with the event organizers and UBC’s payment processer solely for completion of your event registration request. UBC will not share this information with any other parties.
